From The Book Of Who Are Was

One half will tell it
two times over to the mouth of the river.
One half will tell it
two times over and overhear it
a third at the foot of the mountain.
Their fingers will paint it
in the heart of the forest,
as a heart and a forest,
then those too will disappear with their fingers.

A Musette to Niagara

My husband took this picture during a recent trip to Niagara.

Niagara Falls

Rainbows
so close, mist sprays,
soars, goes

and meets
the clouds. Loudly
she greets

she calls,
there, endlessly
she falls.

(c) 2009 Anna G. Raman

The poem is written in the form Musette and appeared in the fall issue of Poetidings.

The fall issue of Sangam is online

I believe this is Sangam's second issue. They consider new and established writers.

My short story titled 'The Big Picture' has been included in this issue.

Lynne Hull and Eco-art

While waiting at my daughter's pre-school on her first day, I read an article on Eco-art.

Lynne Hull is an eco-artist and she believes that creativity can be applied for solving real world problems, environmental and social.
