One exciting thing I learnt is that in Spanish, things have gender. This changes words around them. This is true of Hindi as well. For instance,
My Day translates to
mera din (sorry about the script).
My pen translates to
meri kalam.
Din (day) is masculine in Hindi and
kalam (pen) is feminine. I wonder what other languages have this special property.
